โ—๏ธCoronovirus Updateโ—๏ธ

From Friday 13th March, we are able to offer bulk billed Skype consults for our Patients. Above all we want to assist in minimising the spread of Coronavirus.

This service may be for you if:
๐Ÿ”นYou have traveled overseas (all Countries) or have viral symptoms (cough, sore throat or shortness of breath).
๐Ÿ”นYou want to avoid contact with patients because you are elderly, pregnant, a young child or are unwell with chronic conditions.

Please call 4948 3323 to organise an appointment. The focus is on avoiding the spread of the virus.

โ—๏ธCurrent Recommendationsโ—๏ธ

๐Ÿ”น Contact the Clinic immediately on 4948 3323 if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms! This could include cough, temperature, sore throat or shortness of breath.

๐Ÿ”นWash your hands with soap and water often and dry hands thoroughly.

๐Ÿ”นThere is a lot of rhinovirus (common cold) in the community currently. We recommend that people take leave from work, school and childcare if they are unwell.

๐Ÿ”นPeople with respiratory symptoms should not attend mass events (such as markets, festivals and shopping centres)

๐Ÿ”น Influenza Vaccines are not available yet. We will be running our usual Flu Vaccination Clinics in the recommended optimal time to have the flu vaccine; late April and early May. We will keep our Facebook Page up to date with information regarding the Flu Vaccine and Flu Shot clinics.

๐Ÿ”น Keep updated via the Queensland Health Facebook Page and or by calling 13 HEALTH or the Coronavirus Hotline 1800 020 080
