At Whitsunday Pet Resort we support protection for yourself and others and ENDORSE the below ‘CURRENT RECOMMENDATIONS’ provided by www.whitsundayfamilypractice.com.au , even if you think you 'may' have a common cold or the flu or... SO, If you are EXPERIENCING ANY FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS, AND THEREFORE POSE A RISK TO OTHERS, including the young and elderly, that incidentally includes us 😉. THEN without exception; FIRST CONSULT WITH YOUR DOCTOR; PRIOR to your NEXT VISIT. IMPORTANT: Under the circumstances it would be best not to presume and self diagnose as even the experts can get it wrong. Thank-you in advance for your respect & co-operation.👍

❌CORONAVIRUS UPDATE (COVID-19)❌
The WFP Team has been closely following the COVID-19 situation.
🔹WFP is offering Telephone Consultations as well as Skype Consultations for our Patients who have been advised to self-isolate as well as for our Patients who would prefer not to attend WFP in person. This service will attract a Private Fee and currently there is no Medicare Rebates available for phone or Skype consultations in this situation.
🔹WFP will be running a Patient self-collection clinic and brief assessment for our high-risk Patients. To ensure our Staff’s protection, there will be minimal Patient contact for our Doctors and Nurses with P95 masks. This will be a bulk billed clinic for those Patients who fit the criteria. For further information and triage, we are asking all Patients to contact the Practice on 4948 3323.
❌CURRENT RECOMMENDATIONS❌
🤧Please contact the Clinic immediately if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms!
❗️Wash your hands with soap and water often and dry hands thoroughly.
🤷♂️Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or the inside or your elbow. Throw away used tissues straight after and wash your hands.
🙅♀️Keep your distance from those who are coughing or sneezing.
😷Currently if you are well, there is no evidence that wearing a facemask will stop you from catching a virus like Coronavirus, so if you are well, no mask is needed.
